Since I just recently organized a panel at the Ann Arbor District Library featuring Tobias S. Summary: Zoe's Tale is a companion novel to (or a retelling of) The Last Colony. It is the first of Scalzi's sci-fi novels written intentionally as young adult fiction. Zoe's Tale retells the events of Last Colony from the perspective of Zoe, the teenage daughter of Last Colony's protagonist. The latest installment in the OMW universe, Zoe's Tale is quite a departure from the previous three books. What drove me nuts about this book was how perky it was. Zoe's Tale is the retelling of the events of “The Last Colony” through the eyes of the daughter of the main protagonists in the earlier novel. E GATA „ZOE'S TALE” DE JOHN SCALZI !!! Cover of John Scalzi's Zoe's Tale I've enjoyed all the books in Scalzi's OLD MAN'S WAR universe, but ZOE'S TALE is my favorite. One illustration shows the Fanties which featured in The Last Colony but were not described in detail till this book. From what I understand, Zoe's Tale is a retelling of The Last Colony, the third book in his Old Man's War trilogy*.
